I'm unsure when I'll sit down and design what's in my head for this website, so, in the interim, here are some scribbles that best summarise me: Raised in Dubai, I moved to Mumbai in 2012 ready to become a Doctor. Things changed. I graduated with a BSc in Biotech from Jai Hind College. I even interned at the OPD in Bhatia Hospital. Not for me. Some magic led me to FIXY, a home maintenance startup, for whom I tinkered with email marketing and I was hooked. I went on to work with 5 startups through college.
As a side quest, I applied to Maker Asylum's STEAM SCHOOL, where 50 Indian and 50 French students came together to address the UN's SDG goals. Our project, THE BAT, was featured on the Scientific American, amongst other publications. I also parallely (brimming with enthusiasm) built SensKar, an augmented notepad that combines the power of text, doodling, predictive drawing, and text to speech, all on a single platform thereby allowing people with speech disabilities to convey their thoughts comfortably and conveniently.
Fresh out of college, my curiosity and love for food led me to work with Condé Nast Traveller India to help create and launch the First TOP RESTAURANT AWARDS in the country.
I loved life at a magazine, but was itching to work closely with businesses. That led me to HOWL, where I'm the youngest stakeholder. A business consultancy where, over the past eight years, I have written for over 200 brands. The range includes conceiving businesses from insight to selling elevators online to increasing financial literacy across India with legacy institutions such as the Bombay Stock Exchange. In this context, it is important to mention, I created HOWL's first Content Team, scaling it to 24 copywriters (all while I was only 23). I can go on about life at HOWL, maybe in person with you, dear reader.
A friend and I have also been feeding the elderly of Mumbai, everyday since 2017 with FoodforMore. (It's my party conversation, where I ask people I meet to sponsor a family).
Here's something I recently vibe-coded over a weekend: thebombaycats.com and something I enjoyed writing: THE POLITICAL ECONOMY OF HOGWARTS
